Health and Safety Policy

1. Purpose and Scope

Eagles Tribe Ltd is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, subcontractors, and visitors. This Health and Safety Policy outlines our commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety in the workplace, with a specific focus on the unique hazards associated with air conditioning installation activities.

This policy applies to all employees of Eagles Tribe Ltd, as well as subcontractors and anyone working on behalf of the company. Compliance with this policy is mandatory, and failure to adhere to its guidelines may result in disciplinary action.

2. Responsibilities

2.1 Management:

  • Management is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Allocate resources for the implementation and maintenance of health and safety measures.
  • Regularly review and update risk assessments and procedures.

2.2 Employees:

  • Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Report any hazards, incidents, or near misses promptly to a supervisor.
  • Take reasonable care for their own health and safety, as well as that of others who may be affected by their actions.

3. Risk Assessment and Control Measures

3.1 Risk Assessment:

  • Identify potential hazards associated with air conditioning installation activities.
  • Assess the level of risk and implement control measures to mitigate identified risks.
  • Regularly review and update risk assessments as necessary.

3.2 Control Measures:

  • Provide appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure its proper use.
  • Implement safe working practices during installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to ensure all employees are aware of and understand health and safety procedures.

4. Training and Competence

  • Provide adequate training to all employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks safely.
  • Regularly review and update training programs to reflect changes in technology, regulations, and best practices.

5. Emergency Procedures

  • Establish and communicate clear emergency procedures for various scenarios, including fire, medical emergencies, and evacuation plans.

  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Continuously improve health and safety practices based on lessons learned.

This Health and Safety Policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in legislation, technology, or company operations.
